I am an artist's dream...

So Jovan and I noticed something weird in our freezer a few weeks ago...and at first glance, we couldn't really tell what it was...


Looking even closer, it even looked like it could've been mold...


But upon closer inspection...we found out what it was. ANTS!!! Freakin Ants!!!
In the FREEZER!!!! WTF?!?!?


Even closer you can see some more definition. THere are hundreds of them. When we first opened it, there were thousands...we cleaned it up and they keep coming back!


And even closer...poor little guys. I kinda feel bad for them...


Jovan and I were imagining like this crazy story about how they all got in there at first and were totally trapped, and had to huddle together like that in the corner for warmth. I've read about some winter ants that all gather together in a huge ball around the queen and rotate...the guys on the outside go all the way inside so everyone stays warm. But in this case, they all sufferred the ultimate consequence. They have to be coming from under the freezer or something, maybe they've set up a colony like next to the heat exhaust from the cooling system. And maybe there's just this like hole they go into and can't get out of, and the hole leads straight into the freezer...and all the little ant families say, "Don't go in there, you'll never come back!" Or, "We hear that it leads to the frozen land!" It's like ICE AGE but on a much much smaller scale, and it ends rather badly...
